BTE EcoPure Sdn Bhd's team went to Hong Kong to meet up with a potential partner to distribute EcoPure additives in the region of Hong Kong and China.
We met up with AGL Plastics to conduct an informal product training and questions and answers session for everyone present.
Maggie Chau of AGL Plastics met us in the recent MPLAS exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Having been in the plastic blow molding business for many years, she found the biodegradable industry to be a very interesting one but also a confusing one. There are currently many companies and technologies that evolves around the biodegradable industry. Especially those she found to be Oxo-degradable and starch-based biodegradable.
Therefore, there is no wonder when she discovered the features of EcoPure additive, she was instantly drawn to many of its advantages compared to the rest of the competition. When she mentioned EcoPure's advanages to some of her customers, they were not short of surprised and excited about the potential in EcoPure. The next step was to arrange for testing with EcoPure.
When we met in Hong Kong, her company has already tested the EcoPure G2 on their PET bottles and finds EcoPure blended very well with PET. And there is no complication in the production process. However, we found that there are areas where we need improvement on the clarity of the PET bottles.
We will be meeting once again in New Mexico, Bio-Tec Environmental USA office, together we will meet the Bio-Tec USA management team to learn more about EcoPure, technical information, and marketing strategy.
